EXPONENT NRG

Solar value starts with demand timing

Why annual generation is only part of the opportunity.

FROM REQUIREMENT TO DELIVERY

  1. Define the business challenge
  2. Compare relevant solutions
  3. Review the technical case
  4. Assess the site and economics
  5. Discuss project delivery

Engineering guide

Solar generation and facility demand vary during the day. Self-consumed solar is the portion that serves demand at the time it is generated.

An annual energy comparison cannot establish self-consumption. Use interval demand and an hourly solar model, including holidays, shutdowns and seasonal conditions.

For a Bangladesh project, confirm current utility connection and net-metering requirements with the relevant authority before counting on export income. The screening calculator excludes export revenue.

Apply the guide

Solar Energy

Evaluate rooftops or land against daytime demand, structural conditions and the connection strategy before committing to capacity.

Solar + Storage

Model solar output, site demand and battery operation together. Storage adds value when there is a defined energy-shifting or backup requirement.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Turn this requirement into a project brief.

Share your site, operating priorities and available data. Start with an assessment, arrange a survey where needed, then discuss the project scope.
