EXPONENT NRG

Transportation & Fleets

Daily route energy, charging windows and dependable departures.

Illustrative commercial electric vehicle charging depot

INDUSTRY CONTEXT

Your operating priorities

Coordinate vehicles, chargers and electrical capacity around real operating schedules.

Solutions for your operation

Solar-Integrated EV Charging

Compare vehicle charging schedules with solar output. Assess storage only when energy shifting, headroom or resilience creates a defined use case.

Energy Storage / BESS

Start with critical load, outage duration and operating consequences. Select the architecture and battery technology against that duty cycle.

EV Charging Assessment

Enter your operating data to explore a preliminary scenario.
Assumptions and calculation method

Daily battery energy = vehicles × distance × consumption. Grid energy includes charging losses. Average power = grid energy ÷ charging window; the allowance is a planning margin, not simulated coincident demand. Charger count, vehicle acceptance rate and departure schedules require a charging model. Storage cannot fix an ongoing energy deficit without a feasible recharge window.
